Participation in the survey on the socio-economic impact of Green ICTs is open

This survey aims to assess the social acceptance and socio-economic impact of the Green TIC actions and policies, both for users of these technologies and for ICT sector companies and professionals, as well as to evaluate the training needs and employment opportunities.

One of the LIFE GreenTIC project objectives is to assess the social acceptance and the socio-economic impact of the Green TIC actions and policies both for users (individuals and organisations) and more specifically for ICT sector companies and professionals.

To carry out this evaluation, the opinion survey addresses users and sector experts to determine the level of knowledge and acceptance of different Green TIC aspects.

You can access the questionnaire (English version) through the following link: http://www.lifegreentic.eu/en/polls

The information collected through the survey will allow us to make proposals that contribute to the development of the Green TIC concept and to optimise the potential impact that apps, products and services applying this concept have on employment creation, economic activity and on the improvement of entrepreneurial competitiveness (thanks to the reduction of energy and resources consumption linked to the purchase and use of ICT equipment).

Another objective of the information collection is to identify barriers that hinder the development of Green TIC products and services, the training needs and the willingness to use this kind of products and services.

Finally, the survey aims also to evaluate which are the issues related to the environmental management for which the positive impact of ICT use can be considered higher, both for the resolution of environmental problems and for the improvement of the environmental management.

The information provided will be treated confidentially. The filled-in questionnaires should be sent by e-mail to: lifegreentic@patrimonionatural.org

The survey results and the final evaluation report will be public and will be available in the website of the project:  www.lifegreentic.eu
